Backhoe & Bobcat was started by owner Gary Fortner when he first moved to Floyd County, IN. twenty years ago. He has been using heavy equipment for the past 50 years, across multiple states (Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Indiana). These diverse geographies presented challenges and learning experiences beyond most equipment operators.
